Asian Games Torch Relay Route will Be Monitored Intensively

Today, Central Jakarta Administration monitors Asian Games Torch Relay 2018 route. This monitoring will be intensified to prevent illegal parking and street vendor (PKL) from occupying public facilities.

Central Jakarta Administrative Assistant, Sujanto Budiroso asked Central Jakarta Satpol PP to control PKL who sells along the sidewalk and roadside that will be passed by athletes for torch relay event.

"We want PKL on sidewalk to be controlled after Kemayoran is already cleaned and arranged,"  he mentioned while monitoring Asian Games Torch Relay route at Akbar Mosque, Kemayoran, Monday (8/6).

On the other hand, Central Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Rahmat Lubis said his side will patrol along torch relay routes. But his side is lack of personnel.

"We will give strict sanction for PKLs who are still selling on the roadside. We want sub-district and Kemayoran Management Center (PPKK) to coordinate further to help monitoring the area," he stated.
